Knife crime

Good evening, 

Today the local SNT Newbury and Valentines carried out some joint patrols around the area, whilst carrying out the patrol officers have attended Seven Kings Park due to an incident involving a potential knife in the park. Officers have quickly made way to Seven Kings Park due to the urgency of the call, to which when on scene officers have carried out a thorough search of the park looking for the suspect using the description provided. PC HOPKINS and PC MUNRO have managed to locate three potential suspects involved with the matter, quickly going after these three suspect with the help from Redbridge Emergency response team the three where detained. Although nothing was found on these three they provided relevant information for the other suspect involved, which where later detained by other units outside the park. After completing all satisfactory stops and all parties have been thoroughly investigated, PC HOPKINS, PC MUNRO and PCSO RAHMAN have attended back to the area of the incident where they have located a axe stashed in the bushes. Although this was not able to be linked back to the incident officers have established that this area of park might be being used to hiding things, officers have discussed this matter are going to be looking to carry out a weapons sweep around Seven Kings Park to ensure the safety of everyone who attends. We also ensured to carry out reassurance patrols within the park after the incident engaging with the community and reassuring that everything is okay.
